Council Will Review the General Plan at Its October 14th Meeting

Meeting

Town of Paradise Valley issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.

There are two Study Session items scheduled for the Council's upcoming Study Session at 3:00 on October 14th. The Study Session is an opportunity for the Council to dive deep into the details, ask questions and give staff direction prior to a vote. Although there isn't an opportunity for public comment like there is during the Council business meeting, residents are still invited to attend.

First, a study session is scheduled to continue the Council's discusssion on how best to spend American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds all communities in the country are receiving to help us recover from Covid-19 and/or make us better prepared for another emergency or pandemic in the future.

Second, the PV Town Council will review the proposed General Plan in detail. You can learn more about the 2022 General Plan at https://www.pvtogether2022.com/. Once the Council provides additional input, the draft document will be circulated for additional public input from November 1 through the end of the year. The document will then be revised and will return to both the Planning Commission and Town Council for more input and discussion. The final document will be before the voters in August 2023.
