Scottsdale's Human Services Department is actively engaging the community to contribute to its strategic planning process. The department focuses on providing essential services such as self-sufficiency programs, social services, behavioral support, and recreational diversion programs. It also offers reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities or those with low to moderate income.

The department emphasizes the importance of community feedback in shaping its future initiatives. Kira Peters, Director of the Human Services Department, stated, “Public participation is imperative to shaping the future of our department.” She added that their mission is to serve the community and they are eager to incorporate public ideas into their service enhancement plans.

Residents who participate in a questionnaire will have a chance to win a new iPad. The survey remains open until Friday, November 29th and can be accessed in both English and Spanish.

To provide input or learn more about Scottsdale Human Services, visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov and search for "Engage with Us."
