Goodyear Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 5.
Over the past week the valley has experienced monsoon storm flooding and excessive heat warnings. It been another hot day, so remember to hydrate and stay inside where it’s cool, if possible.
As AZ monsoon season continues, more storms are likely. Remember, don’t cross flooded streets/washes… “turn around, don’t drown!” Whatever the weather, Goodyear Police are here for you!
