City of Goodyear issued the following announcement on July 29.
In 1956, the Goodyear Tires Service Store broke ground on the corner of Western Ave & Litchfield Rd.
Paul Litchfield (the first CEO of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber) stands under the "O" in the Goodyear banner.
