The Board for Private Postsecondary Education paid an average compensation of $72,455 during 2018, according to data compiled by The Arizona Republic. Arizona public employees as a whole averaged 18 percent less with a compensation of $59,597. Total compensation is made up of an employee's annual salary with the addition of any overtime pay earned throughout the year.
