The Commission for Postsecondary Education paid an average compensation of $42,806 during 2018, according to data compiled by The Arizona Republic. Arizona public employees as a whole averaged 39 percent more with a compensation of $59,597. Total compensation is made up of an employee's annual salary with the addition of any overtime pay earned throughout the year.

The highest-paid public employee working for the Commission for Postsecondary Education—April Osborn—earned $96,314 as the director.

When calculating average compensation, only employees categorized as full time were included.
