A new pedestrian underpass has been completed at the Hayden and Chaparral intersection in Scottsdale. The $5 million project, part of the Indian Bend Multiuse Path, aims to enhance safety by reducing conflicts between pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. This initiative allows for longer green-light times for motorists. Funding was provided through federal grants and Scottsdale’s Transportation Sales Tax.
Scottsdale is also conducting a biennial community survey to gather residents' opinions on various city programs and services.
