Court rules in favor of Scottsdale against Rio Verde Foothills residents

The Maricopa County Superior Court has ruled in favor of Scottsdale in the litigation initiated by some residents of Rio Verde Foothills. The court denied the temporary relief requested against the city. Scottsdale continues to stand firm on its legal position and urges Maricopa County, which serves as the local government for Rio Verde Foothills, to find a solution for its residents.

In other news, Scottsdale Civic Center reopened after completing the first phase of improvements. The western part of the project is now open, with full completion expected by late March.
