Scottsdale has introduced a new service, "Hello Scottsdale," aimed at providing residents and visitors with easy access to information via text message. This AI-powered Q&A platform is currently being piloted in Old Town Scottsdale, with plans for expansion to other areas.

The service offers information on events, city services, and local businesses through text messages. In Old Town, signs promoting Hello Scottsdale can be found in some of the city's busiest locations.

According to the city, "Hello Scottsdale is a great way to explore the community and share your thoughts and ideas on what Scottsdale can do to be an even better place to live, work and play." Feedback collected through this service will be used anonymously to enhance city services and programs.

As part of the pilot initiative, select neighborhoods will notice Hello Scottsdale stickers on their waste collection bins. This feature allows residents to report issues and access information regarding trash and recycling collection in their area.

During the testing phase of this platform, residents might also encounter Hello Scottsdale signs and stickers at public parks, outreach events, and city programs. Additional details about Hello Scottsdale and other engagement opportunities can be found by visiting ScottsdaleAZ.gov and searching for "hello Scottsdale."
