Scottsdale is currently seeking volunteers to fill several openings on its boards and commissions. Residents who are interested in contributing to their community are encouraged to apply for these positions. The available opportunities include one opening each on the Airport Advisory Commission, Development Review Board, Human Relations Commission, Library Board, Neighborhood Advisory Commission, and Veterans Advisory Commission. Additionally, there is an industry representative position open on the Tourism Development Commission.

Details regarding the roles of these boards and commissions can be accessed by visiting ScottsdaleAZ.gov and searching for "Boards and Commissions."

Applications must be submitted online by Thursday, February 9. Once submitted, applications remain valid for a year. In February, the City Council will review applications and nominate candidates from those received. Interviews and appointments are expected to occur in March. All appointed members must adhere to the city's Ethics Code and complete a training session before starting their term.
