In a recent decision, the Maricopa County Superior Court ruled in favor of the City of Scottsdale regarding litigation initiated by residents of Rio Verde Foothills. The court denied the request for temporary relief against the city.

The legal arguments presented by the city can be accessed through a provided PDF link, as well as the court's order denying the temporary stay.

Further claims against Scottsdale have not yet been resolved. The city maintains confidence in its legal stance and continues to urge Maricopa County, which is responsible for governing Rio Verde Foothills, to find a solution for its residents.

A statement released by Scottsdale on January 16 offers additional insights into this matter. It includes facts and information pertinent to understanding the ongoing issue concerning water access in Rio Verde Foothills.
