Scottsdale residents have expressed a high level of satisfaction with their community in the National Community Survey conducted over December and January. The survey indicates that 98% of respondents rate Scottsdale as an excellent place to live, while 97% find it an excellent place to visit. Safety and the local economy were highlighted as top priorities by those surveyed.
Additional notable results include a 95% satisfaction rate with overall quality of life and daytime neighborhood safety. The survey also found that 94% of participants would recommend living in Scottsdale. Other services such as utility structure, fire services, health opportunities, and public library services received high marks ranging from 90% to 93%.
In another development, the Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen will be dedicated on March 18 at the Scottsdale Civic Center’s Memorial Lawn. This memorial honors service members from the area who lost their lives during military service.
