Oktoberfest
Celebrate this German-themed holiday at Via Linda Senior Center from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. Enjoy brats, root beer, music, raffle prizes and more while socializing with friendly faces. Doors will open at 11 a.m. will be served at 11:45 a.m. The cost is $7 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Space is limited. Registration is required. Día de Los Muertos
Join Granite Reef Senior Center from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 and celebrate this Day of the Dead-themed event. Enjoy traditional Ballet Folklorico dancers as they showcase and honor Mexican culture and heritage through traditional dances. Bring your appetite as a delicious meal will be provided. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. The cost is $7 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Space is limited. Registration is required.
