Scottsdale announces diverse lineup of holiday events throughout city

Mark your calendar for a season of holiday events in Scottsdale, starting with the Holiday Lights at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park from November 29 to December 30. Visitors can enjoy train rides through light displays, carousel rides, and miniature golf. Tickets are priced at $15 or $10 for select weekdays during the 8 p.m. timeslot.

Scottsdazzle, a month-long celebration in Old Town Scottsdale from November 30 to December 31, will feature over 45 holiday events hosted by the city and local businesses. The festivities include seasonal decor, light displays, dining, and shopping opportunities.

The Sing-Along & Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 30 will kick off Scottsdazzle at the Scottsdale Waterfront from 7-9 p.m., featuring hot cocoa and classic Christmas tunes led by the Scottsdale Community College Orchestra. The event concludes with lighting a 36-foot Scottsdazzle tree.

Visitors can meet Santa at the Farmers Market on select dates between November 30 and December 14. On December 7, the Ultimate Family Play Date at Scottsdale Civic Center offers interactive activities and entertainment for families.

Additional Scottsdazzle events include Shop Scottsdale Saturday on November 30, Starlight Movie Night featuring "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on December 7, Jolly Tamales Cooking Class on December 7, Pancakes & Pajamas with Santa on December 14, Merry Merchantile Market on December 14, Holly Jolly DIY Decor session on December 14, Ugly Sweater Holiday Bar Crawl on December 14, and Public Menorah Lighting on December 29.

Curious Crafter: Quilled Holiday Cards is scheduled for December 2 at Mustang Library for adults aged 18 and older. A Holiday Gift Craft event invites tweens and teens to create snow globes across various library locations from December 2 to December 12.

Parks and Recreation Holiday JamFest will take place at Horizon Park on December 14 from 5-7 p.m., offering live music and festive fun. Polar Express Storytime is set for December 18 at Civic Center Library.
