Scottsdale's winter celebration, Scottsdazzle, is nearing its conclusion with a series of events and activities planned for the final week. Among these are Peppermint Plaza nights on December 30 and 31, where visitors can enjoy peppermint-themed cocktails and solve holiday riddles in the Entertainment District.

On January 1, the Scottsdale Canal Walk will host a Hanukkah Candle Lighting event featuring donuts, crafts, and songs. Organizations such as the Valley of the Sun J, PJ Library, Temple Chai, and Pardes Jewish Day School will participate in this celebration.

Public meetings are scheduled for the week of January 6. The Library Board Regular Meeting will occur at 3 p.m., followed by the Veterans Advisory Commission Regular Meeting at 5 p.m., both on January 8.

The Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market continues to offer a wide variety of organic produce from over 100 Arizona growers every Saturday morning. Meanwhile, art enthusiasts can explore more than 100 galleries during the weekly Scottsdale ArtWalk or attend events at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

Residents are encouraged to recycle their Christmas trees at designated city parks until January 10. Only natural trees without wires are accepted. Details about recycling services can be found on ScottsdaleAZ.gov.

Nominations for the "Spirit of Scottsdale" award close on December 31. This program recognizes individuals and organizations that contribute positively to their neighborhoods.

The Scottsdale Trolley will not operate on New Year's Day. For those interested in employment opportunities with the city, there is an opening for a Water Quality Specialist position.

For additional information or assistance, residents can contact the City Call Center or use online resources like Scottsdale EZ for service requests.
