Scottsdale's annual winter celebration, Scottsdazzle, is in full swing with a variety of events scheduled for this weekend. Among the activities is the Sparkle & Spin Scavenger Hunt, where participants will cycle through Old Town Scottsdale solving puzzles and riddles to earn a holiday keepsake. The event will take place on Saturday, December 21st from 9-11 a.m. at Marshall Way Bridge, with a cost of $18 per person. Pre-registration is required.
Another event on offer is Holly Jolly Cork Crafting at LDV Winery’s Tasting Room in Old Town Scottsdale. Participants can create cork crafts while enjoying wine and snacks on Saturday, December 21st from 10:30-11:45 a.m., at a cost of $45 per person.
The Scottsdazzle Stroll invites visitors to wander through Old Town Scottsdale's winter wonderland, featuring live music and festive decorations along the canal banks of the Scottsdale Waterfront. This event takes place from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, December 21st.
In addition to these festivities, public meetings are scheduled for the week of December 16th. The Personnel Board Regular Meeting will occur at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 16th, followed by the Tourism Development Commission Regular Meeting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17th.
Other ongoing activities include Holiday Lights at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park running through December 30th and Scottsdale ArtWalk every Thursday evening.
Scottsdale's Neighborhood Advisory Commission is accepting nominations for the "Spirit of Scottsdale" award until December 31st. This program recognizes individuals and organizations that contribute positively to the community.
