On December 10, 2024, Scottsdale Police arrested George Keith Mosley, age 31, on multiple counts related to child sex trafficking. This arrest follows an investigation that began in July 2024 when the Scottsdale Police Department was called to a hotel for a fraud case involving Mosley.
During surveillance at the hotel, officers observed Mosley leaving with a teenage female. They promptly contacted and arrested him for the fraud investigation. The female was identified as a missing juvenile from out of state. "Mosley was booked and released for credit card fraud," stated police sources. Detectives assisted in reuniting the juvenile with her family.
The situation led to further investigations which uncovered evidence suggesting human trafficking activities. The Scottsdale Police Department’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit took charge of this specialized investigation.
Their efforts revealed that Mosely had been involved in sex trafficking across multiple states with the juvenile female victim. Once probable cause was established, Mosley was apprehended by the Scottsdale Police Special Assignments Unit on December 10, 2024. A search warrant executed at his temporary residence yielded substantial additional evidence.
Mosely is now held in Maricopa County Jail facing charges including 20 felony counts of Child Sex Trafficking, Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Illegal Enterprise, and Money Laundering involving a juvenile victim.
