The City of Scottsdale is seeking an individual to serve on two key boards: the Municipal Property Corporation and the Scottsdale Preserve Authority. The deadline for applications has been extended to December 30, 2022.

The appointed member will play a crucial role as a voting participant in both organizations. Responsibilities include evaluating opportunities for issuing bonds and advising on refinancing long-term debt. These bonds are essential for funding various city projects.

The Municipal Property Corporation was established as a nonprofit in January 1967. Its purpose is to assist the city with land acquisition and construction improvements through bond issuance and sales.

Similarly, the Scottsdale Preserve Authority was incorporated as a nonprofit in January 1997. It was created to aid the city in financing land acquisitions by issuing its own bonds.

For more information and to apply, interested individuals can find details and the application form online.
