Scottsdale is preparing for its 10th annual 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld, located at 16601 N. Pima Road. The event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, and will feature one of the largest fireworks displays in Arizona.

The celebration aims to be zero waste this year, with knives, forks, paper, and food waste being composted through a partnership with Recycled City.

Entertainment will include the Copper State Rodeo Company presenting bull-riding rodeos and mutton busting events for children. Medieval Times Jr. Knight training will offer aspiring knights a chance to learn about chivalry and adventure directly from the knights.

The Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Summer Slider Eating Contest Championship will occur on the main stage. Fourteen finalists will compete by eating sliders quickly for a grand prize.

Attendees can enjoy appearances by Disney characters, live circus performances, family-friendly games, and backyard BBQ provided by M. Culinary.

The evening's program includes a presentation of colors and the singing of the National Anthem to honor patriotism.

The 4th Annual Parade of Heroes will recognize outstanding leaders in six categories for their community contributions.

This event is cashless; attendees should be prepared to make card payments for purchases such as parking, tickets, and food on-site.
