Scottsdale’s Parks & Recreation department is currently developing a master plan for Indian School Park that revolves around four new concepts, with public input playing a vital role in determining amenities that will meet evolving community needs and future priorities.
The proposed concepts for the park involve variations in amenities, field and court quantities, circulation, and park configuration, all subject to feedback from the public. According to Nick Molinari, the community services assistant executive director, "Public feedback is a crucial aspect of our department's master planning process...We're excited to see what the citizens of Scottsdale provide to enhance amenities for the next decade."
After gathering input from the public, the department will consolidate the feedback to create a final master plan concept for Indian School Park. It is emphasized that the plan will not immediately lead to a detailed project list for implementation but will follow Scottsdale's capital project process over time.
