Cox Communications announced the appointment of Darron Moffatt as their new Director of Government Affairs for Arizona. Moffatt brings a background in government affairs and strategic communications that positions Cox to better address legislative challenges and enhance its community involvement.
As part of his role, Moffatt will guide Cox's strategic advocacy efforts at various governmental levels, aligning the company's priorities with key legislation and public policy. He will also oversee initiatives in community engagement and strategic partnerships aimed at fostering growth.

Moffatt previously served as Chief Deputy Recorder for Maricopa County, where he managed early voting and elections, voter registration, communications, and other critical operations. His experience includes handling statewide communications strategy as a Press Secretary for a U.S. Senator and advising on media strategy in the Arizona Secretary of State's office.
