Desert Stages Theatre in Scottsdale, Arizona, is preparing to host a gala event titled "Masquerade of Memories: Thirty Years of Theatre" on April 11, 2025. This event will celebrate the theatre's three decades of creativity and community involvement. The gala aims to support the theatre's upcoming "Next Act," marking a new chapter in its history.
The celebration will take place at the Museum of the West, located at 3830 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale. Attendees can expect an evening filled with hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a silent auction, and live performances by actors associated with Desert Stages Theatre over the years. Guests are encouraged to wear masquerade attire, with masks available at the venue for those who wish to participate fully in the theme.
Tickets for individuals are priced at $200 each and include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Sponsorship opportunities range from $25,000 for the Mystic Masques Table to $1,600 for the Friends of the Theatre Table. These sponsorships come with VIP seating and various perks including recognition on social media and printed materials from Desert Stages.
The online silent auction will open on March 28 and features items such as luxury getaways, restaurant gift cards, golf outings, and exclusive show tickets. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Desert Stages Theatre's relocation efforts and ensuring future productions continue successfully.
For those unable to attend but still wishing to support Desert Stages Theatre, a donation option is available in honor of their 30-year anniversary. Donations can be made through their website.
