Scottsdale announces diverse lineup of fall events including sports and cultural celebrations

The city of Scottsdale has announced a variety of events for the fall season, offering activities ranging from sports and auctions to cultural celebrations and family-friendly gatherings.

The Arizona Fall League is currently underway and will continue until November 16. Baseball enthusiasts can watch the Scottsdale Scorpions play at Scottsdale Stadium, with tickets priced at $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and teens, and free entry for children aged 10 and under.

From October 10 to 13, WestWorld of Scottsdale will host the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. This event includes a unique car auction, live music, carnival rides, and exhibits. Gates open at 8 a.m.

Halloween-themed activities are also on the agenda with the Halloween Spook-Track-Ula running from October 11 to 31 at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. Tickets cost $15, while children aged two and under can attend for free.

On October 18-19, Brown’s Ranch Trailhead will celebrate its grand opening with guided hikes organized by the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy in partnership with the city of Scottsdale.

Scottsdale's Dia de los Muertos celebration will take place from October 24 to November 2 in Old Town Scottsdale. Most events are free, though tickets are required for Danza de Muertos through Scottsdale Arts.

The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships return on October 26 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The event features polo matches alongside food, drinks, performances, fashion displays, and exotic cars.

Also on October 26 is the annual Fall Festival at Chaparral Park featuring trick-or-treating, game booths, a costume contest, and more. This event is free to attend.

For Halloween enthusiasts looking for a safe environment to celebrate on October 30th can join Trunk-or-Treat hosted by the Scottsdale Police Department at McKellips District parking lot. The event is free but attendees are encouraged to bring travel toiletry donations for domestic violence victims.

From November 8 to 17 Canal Convergence will illuminate the Scottsdale Waterfront with large-scale public artworks under this year's theme "Reflections." The event includes workshops, tours, live music performances as well as local beer tasting opportunities.

Veterans Day Commemoration on November 11 will honor military service members with a keynote address by John F. Regni USAF (Ret.) accompanied by patriotic music performed by Coast Guard Auxiliary Band at Memorial Lawn in front of City Hall starting from half-past ten till noon; attendance requires no charge whatsoever!

Every Saturday Old Town Farmers Market opens its doors showcasing over one hundred Arizona growers offering organic produce among other seasonal specialties without any admission fee involved!
