This episode of Veterans AZ highlights a collaboration between United States Marine Corps veterans and veterans from federal law enforcement agencies, including the FBI. The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation (MCLEF) plays a significant role in this partnership by providing scholarships to children of fallen Marines and Federal Law Enforcement Officers. Since its inception in 1995, the foundation has distributed over $90 million to support families across the nation.

The Arizona chapter of MCLEF was established in 2004 and has since raised more than $1.9 million for local families. An annual fundraising event, a golf tournament, is scheduled for June 9 at Grayhawk in Scottsdale. The night before, MCLEF-AZ will host the Gathering of Heroes dinner at American Legion Post 34 in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Veterans AZ (VeteransAZ.org) is a video series dedicated to sharing stories of Arizona veterans and highlighting organizations that serve them. It is part of the Scottsdale Veterans Advisory Commission's mission to enhance communication and awareness about veterans' achievements and available services. Produced by the City of Scottsdale, Veterans AZ offers news and information concerning veterans throughout the Valley of the Sun and Arizona.

For those interested, Veterans AZ is also accessible via podcast platforms.
