Nikki Stratton, granddaughter of USS Arizona survivor Donald Stratton, shares her grandfather's remarkable story of survival from the attack on December 7, 1941. She explains how he overcame his injuries and returned to service before the end of World War II. Nikki continues to honor this legacy by serving as the sponsor for a new USS Arizona submarine currently being built.
The episode also features MANA House, a transitional housing facility created by veterans for veterans. Army veteran Cole Hickman discusses this initiative that provides support to former service members struggling with homelessness.
