Honoring its commitment to sustainability, Scottsdale is calling for nominations to celebrate environmental contributions and advancements that positively impact the Scottsdale community through the 2025 Sustainable Scottsdale Awards.

Examples of eligible programs include:

Previous Sustainable Scottsdale Award recipients include R. City’s food waste diversion program; Witnessing Nature in Food’s food container landfill diversion program; and Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch’s environmental stewardship.
Nominations will be accepted from Sept. 9 through 5 p.m. Oct. 31. Applicants must complete a short application form and submit a 500 - 1,000-word summary detailing their innovative program’s story. Award winners will be announced during Earth Week in April 2025.
