Scottsdale Project Management Assistant Mya Trivison has been acknowledged for her dedication to organizing blood drives to support Valley blood supplies. Trivison's personal connection to blood donations stems from her father's battle with cancer and her mother's current chemotherapy treatments. She emphasized the importance of ensuring a stable blood supply, stating, "I donate and coordinate because everyone that needs blood should have it available immediately."

In 2023, Trivison coordinated nine blood drives at city facilities, resulting in 239 donations. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, as her enthusiasm for blood donation has inspired her colleagues, Mayor David D. Ortega, and other prominent figures in Scottsdale to participate in these life-saving efforts. Vitalant, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization, recognized Trivison as a 2023 Impact Award winner for her contributions to the community.

Looking ahead to 2024, Trivison has already scheduled multiple blood drives at Scottsdale City Hall, open to the public, on May 8, July 10, Sept. 11, and Nov. 6. Interested individuals can make reservations for these upcoming drives to support this crucial cause.
