Arizona Rep. Alexander Kolodin suggested that the leadership of the previous administration was more successful in achieving peace compared to the current Biden administration. This statement surfaced as reports of substantial casualties resulting from the Israel-Hamas conflict that unfolded over the weekend continued to emerge. Kolodin stated, "When Trump was president, Twitter was at war and the world was at peace."

The conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in a significant number of casualties. Hamas, an Islamist militant group, launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War that began on Oct. 6, 1973. The firing of thousands of rockets towards several parts of Israel, including areas like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, has resulted in a death toll of over 900 people, with thousands injured, and these numbers are expected to increase. Among the deceased, there were at least 11 American citizens. Israel has declared war on Hamas following the attack, according to ABC News.

Hamas is one of the major political parties in the Palestinian territories, known for its resistance against Israel. In 1997, the United States officially designated Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization, particularly due to its use of tactics like suicide bombings. Iran is among the significant supporters of Hamas, according to the Council on Foreign Relations.

The Biden Administration faces accusations regarding its alleged "role" in the attack. Last month, Biden unfroze access to $6 billion in assets, intended for controlled funds and humanitarian purposes. This move was part of a deal to secure the release of some jailed American citizens. However, Iran reportedly indicated an intention to spend the funds as they see fit, according to BBC.

The Biden Administration has also come under scrutiny for its decision to host a barbecue event this past Sunday. According to reports, the event featured live music and was intended for the enjoyment of White House staff. The event took place shortly after the attack in Israel which resulted in war to break out, according to Fox News.

In the wake of the recent attack, immigration concerns have taken center stage among U.S. lawmakers. Many are raising questions about the potential infiltration of terrorists through illegal immigration, especially amidst the ongoing border crisis. Former President Trump has added fuel to the fire with a post on Truth Social, alleging that members of Hamas are entering the country through the open border and plotting attacks on U.S. soil. This has ignited a broader debate about the Biden administration's border control measures and its impact on national security, according to Newsweek.

"AMERICANS, Pay Attention! Joe Biden just gave Iran $6 Billion last month," said Arizona State Senator Justine Wadsack in a post on the X platform. "Iran's parliament chants 'Death to Israel, Death to America... today. Israel is at WAR with HAMAS as of this morning. America's borders are intentionally wide open. Know Your History!"

Lou Dobbs, an American conservative political commentator, also raised concerns about the situation, stating, "How many radical Islamist terrorists have crossed our southern border into the U.S. in the past two and a half years? Where are they? What do they intend? Only the anti-semitic Marxist Dems who control this corrupt anti-America Biden Regime know. And who are they? It's time we have answers."

As the Israel-Hamas conflict continues to escalate, the statements made by Rep. Kolodin highlight the ongoing debate and criticism surrounding the Biden administration's approach to international relations and border control.
