I’m writing to thank the Scottsdale Police Officers who came to my home after an intruder broke in. The general idea is that I awoke 3am to find a man in a hoodie, standing 4-5 feet from my bed. I can’t tell you how terrifying that is for a woman. The officers arrived so quickly and they were wonderful, I want to thank them (Sgt. Serbalik, Ofcs. Rumann, Romero & Stroud.) Michelle from the crisis team offered counseling services as a follow up. All of these people treated me with great kindness and compassion. I was in shock and hardly knew my own name. They asked questions, which I appreciated and did my best to answer, but they also assured me it was normal to not remember everything.
PLEASE let these Police Officers who came to my home know that I send my sincere thanks and appreciation.
