We are proud to announce that we have 5 new police officers in the SPD family. Recruits Fogo, Pence, Rodriquez, Sylvester and Yost started their day with a flag ceremony and final inspections. In the afternoon, they took their Oath of Office with the Maricopa County Law Enforcement Training Academy's 158th Class and joined the ranks of Scottsdale Police Department as Police Officers.
Their dedication and hard work has brought them to this next step and we can't wait to see them soar. SPD's own Ofc. Sylvester took the "Overall Top Recruit" for Class 158! Congratulations and Welcome, Officers!
