Thanks to the efforts of staff and council

Cavecr

Thanks to the efforts of staff and council, our Town is now in a better position to fight wildfires if the need occurs. Town Council Members had an opportunity to check out our Brand New Cave Creek Fire Brush Truck prior to the June 20 Council meeting.

There will be another opportunity for everyone to take a look at the Brush Truck once it is fully outfitted.

Special thanks goes out to our very own Jim Ford, Director of Community Risk Reduction for assisting us who was recently awarded the James M. Shannon Advocacy Medal from the National Fire Protection Association at their 125th Anniversary Conference in Boston for his “significant contributions” in lessening losses from fire and other hazards.
