Meet our recent grad: Dr. Sylvia C., Class of 2021. With her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, Dr. C. understands the crucial role we all play in making our communities better.
“It is my belief that your community is not just the community that you live in, but it is wherever you are at that moment. It is crucial for me to positively connect and/or impact others around me. I was taught at an early age to do this whether I was driving in my car or walking down the street. I was always taught the importance of giving back. Helping others provides you with an opportunity to learn and to grow as a person, and it assists you with gaining a better understanding of your purpose. Helping others helps me to be a better me.”
