Like millions of other employees across the nation, technology workers have taken their share of lumps during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
A platform has been developed by an experienced tech executive that allows those displaced experienced software workers to link up with companies that have not been impacted by the swing in fortunes.
Grad Head, who started Gregslist of Arizona Software Companies’ website, has launched #SaaSTalentNow.
Head told the Phoenix Business Journal the list consisted of approximately 40 people seeking employment with an average of 13 years of experience in the industry.
Head also described the sector as lopsided with start-up companies expected to struggle in the current economic environment. Tech companies supporting hospitality, travel, retail and event planning were also struggling.
On the plus side, Head told the Journal it depends on the customer the technology company serves and there are still some that are hiring.
