Town of Fountain Hills recently issued the following announcement.

Date: Saturday, February 15, 2020

Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Location: Town of Fountain Hills, Arizona

Details

Visitors are invited to explore how early settlers in this desert community lived their daily lives. Join representatives from the Yavapai and Salt River Pima communities, the Arizona Memory project and Cowboy Historian Lee Anderson. Other activities include pioneer crafts, create a sun catcher to take home. Food trucks will be on hand and the Rockin' RR Chuck Wagon crew will show the tools used for preparing meals during the early ranching days. KJZZ radio will have the Soundbites truck at the plaza and residents are encouraged to record their memories of living in the area. The River of Time Museum and Fountain Hills Library, adjacent to the Community Center, will be open for tours.
