There were 1,139 finance and insurance businesses in Maricopa County zip codes that had between five and nine employees in 2016, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

CBP data indicates that there are more establishments categorized as retail trade businesses with between five and nine employees in Maricopa County zip codes than in any other category.
