The city of Scottsdale is reaching out to local businesses throughout the Valley to collect feedback on its procurement and bidding processes. The city aims to identify any challenges experienced by businesses through an online questionnaire.
Jenn Myers, Scottsdale’s purchasing director, emphasized the significance of the business sector to the city’s economy. “Our business community is a cornerstone of the city’s economic strength,” she stated. “By working closely with businesses to understand their needs and obstacles, we can enhance our services, reduce barriers and build a more responsive environment for business success.”
The city hopes to use the insights gathered to refine its services and improve the interaction between vendors and the city’s purchasing department. All businesses in the greater Phoenix area are invited to participate in the questionnaire. The feedback provided will influence Scottsdale’s future efforts to strengthen its business environment.
Participants who complete the questionnaire will be entered into a raffle for $100 gift cards. The questionnaire is open for responses until Friday, April 18, and is available in both English and Spanish: https://polco.us/s76y6n. Responses will remain confidential.
For additional details, interested parties are advised to contact Assistant City Manager Brent Stockwell.
