The Maricopa County Republican Executive Guidance Committee has issued a vote of no confidence in Thomas Galvin, Chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. This decision was made on March 4, 2025, and cites several reasons for their resolution.
The committee expressed concerns over Galvin's "lack of care, compassion and self-control to properly execute the leadership position with an unwillingness to hear the voice of the People in his handling of board meetings and working with fellow elected servants."
The Executive Guidance Committee comprises five members from the Executive Board, five elected Members-at-Large, and 20 GOP Legislative District Chairmen within Maricopa County.
