Credit Union West is now accepting applications for its 2025 Scholarship Program, open to high school seniors in Arizona. The program will award five scholarships totaling $10,000. In line with Credit Union West's commitment to serving military personnel, two of these scholarships are designated for students involved in their high school's Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Program.
"Credit Union West is proud to support the educational goals of the youth in our community," stated Karen Roch, President and CEO of Credit Union West. "Our annual scholarship program is a point of pride at Credit Union West and is an essential part of our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve in a tangible way."
The scholarships target college-bound students planning to attend trade schools or two-year or four-year colleges in fall 2025. The CU West CARES Charitable Foundation funds these scholarships to assist students with educational expenses.
Applicants must meet certain criteria and submit a short essay. Details on how to apply can be found at cuwest.org/scholarship, with applications accepted until March 31, 2025. Winners will be announced in May.
