Desert Foothills Land Trust (DFLT) is set to host its annual fundraiser, Concert for Conservation, in Carefree, Arizona. The event will take place on Sunday, March 9th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion. Attendees can expect an afternoon filled with music performed by local band Gedalife, who will play a variety of rock, country, and blues hits.

The event will also feature a silent auction offering experiences such as premier golf packages and adventures. Vicki Preston, President and CEO of Desert Foothills Land Trust, emphasized the importance of the event: "Concert for Conservation isn't just a fundraiser – it's a way for the community to come together, celebrate, and help protect the desert landscapes we love."

Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Speedy Burger and PHX Beer Co. Additionally, there are sponsorship opportunities for businesses interested in supporting conservation efforts.

Tickets are priced at $75 per person, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. Proceeds from ticket sales will support DFLT's mission to conserve sensitive lands in the Sonoran Desert. More information about the event can be found at dflt.org/concert2025.

The Desert Foothills Land Trust works with communities across North Phoenix Valley to preserve nearly 1,100 acres across 29 preserves. Re-accredited in 2022 by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, DFLT continues its efforts to balance conservation with community needs.
