The Scottsdale Human Services Department is inviting community members to provide feedback on its strategic plan. This initiative aims to gather input from citizens to shape the department's three-year strategic plan, focusing on self-sufficiency, social services, behavioral support, and accommodations for people with disabilities or low income. Participants who complete the questionnaire will have a chance to win an iPad. The survey is available in English and Spanish until November 29.

Scottsdale also hosts several public meetings for those interested in city issues and projects. Meetings include a City Council Regular Meeting on November 25 and another on December 3, followed by a Veterans Advisory Commission Regular Meeting on December 4.

The city's holiday celebration, Scottsdazzle, begins on November 30 and continues through December 31. The event offers dining, shopping, and over 45 activities in Old Town Scottsdale. On November 30, the Shop Scottsdale Saturday event encourages local shopping with free gift-wrapping services and entertainment.

Additionally, the Maricopa County Air Quality Department has launched its "Burn Cleaner, Burn Better" campaign to reduce wood smoke pollution during fall and winter. The campaign promotes alternative fuel options like gas or propane to improve air quality.

Scottsdale residents can recycle old electronics at the North Corp Yard on December 7. Accepted items include computers, phones, cameras, and stereo equipment. Proof of residency is required for participation.

A job opening for Airport Operations Tech is available in Scottsdale. This role involves inspecting airport facilities and communicating safety procedures with various stakeholders.
