Scottsdale implements safety measures ahead of Halloween; approves parental leave policy

Halloween poses a significant risk for child pedestrians, with the city of Scottsdale urging motorists to exercise caution on October 31. The Police and Transportation and Streets departments recommend drivers turn on headlights earlier and reduce speed during peak hours from 5-9 p.m.

Scottsdale is seeking community feedback on noise impact in the city. Residents are invited to attend workshops scheduled for November 2, 6, and 7 at the Scottsdale Community Design Studio to discuss potential ordinance changes.
