Scottsdale Video Network announces February programming schedule

Scottsdale Video Network has released its February program schedule, available on Cox channel 11. The network offers a range of programs, including public meetings and various shows covering topics from wildlife to local history.

"Arizona Wildlife Views," an Emmy-winning show, airs on Wednesdays at several times throughout the day. It explores recreational and wildlife opportunities across Arizona.

The "Camino Campana Dedication Ceremony" will be broadcast on Fridays. This ceremony marks the dedication of the Camino Campana Interpretive Trail in honor of former Scottsdale Mayor Sam Campana.

Film enthusiasts can watch "Cinetime," featuring independent films highlighted at Chandler’s International Film Festival, airing Sundays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Fitness programs are also part of the lineup with "Club SAR @ Home," which offers a variety of exercise routines weekdays at 6 and 6:30 a.m.

Gardening tips are provided by Carol Stuttard in "Desert Gardening with Carol Stuttard." The program is scheduled for Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

For those interested in history, "Hashknife Pony Express" recreates the oldest officially sanctioned Pony Express route. It airs Mondays and Wednesdays.

Another historical feature is "Honoring Preserve Pioneers," which tells the story behind the establishment of Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve. It is available on Sundays and Fridays.

Aviation enthusiasts can tune into "Legends of Airpower," profiling influential figures in American air power. This series is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays.

The network will also host an MLK Celebration event featuring keynote speaker Patricia Russell-McCloud. This celebration occurs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Neighborhood College provides resources for residents to become effective community leaders. It airs on Sundays.

"Pima Dynamite Trailhead Dedication" highlights a recent trailhead dedication ceremony honoring Art DeCabooter. The program airs Mondays.

Viewers can learn about dealing with roof rats and bees through advice from Maricopa County Environmental Services in "Roof Rats & Bees: What do you do?" airing Sundays.

"Scottsdale 360" offers insights into city operations with presentations from city leaders. This program airs Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Bruce Wall presents "Spooky Stories of Scottsdale," sharing tales about unusual endings that may explain local ghost stories. It airs Fridays.

Children's safety education is provided by Sprinkler the clown in "Sprinkler's Clubhouse," airing weekends at 6 a.m.
