Scottsdale Family ArtsFest is set to take place this weekend at SkySong, offering a two-day celebration of creativity. The festival will feature performances, interactive demonstrations, creative interventions, and food from local trucks throughout the venue.

Attendees can look forward to art exhibitions and performances by students from the Scottsdale Unified School District. The event will also include family-friendly arts activities presented by Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation, along with interactive demonstrations from various city departments.

A notable part of the festival is the annual Alli Ortega Empty Bowls Fundraiser organized by Scottsdale Community Partners (SCP). This event will be held in the lobby entrance of SkySong Building 1. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase bowls crafted by students and community members. An online auction featuring class bowls, art pieces, and other goods donated by the community will also be available. Proceeds from these sales will support SCP programs in partnership with the city's Human Services department. These programs include the Vista del Camino Food Bank, Back-to-School initiatives, and the Healthy Packs weekend food program for students.

The festival is scheduled to run from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, March 24, and will continue from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 at the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center.
