Scottsdale Video Network broadcasts diverse programming including historical documentaries

Scottsdale Video Network (SVN) offers round-the-clock telecasts on Cox Cable channel 11 and a live stream. City Council, Planning Commission, and Development Review Board meetings are also streamed live on the network's YouTube channel.

The SVN program schedule is updated weekly to include upcoming televised public meetings.

Among the programs featured:

- "7th Fleet Band" showcases performances by the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet. It airs Mondays at various times.

- "Arizona Wildlife Views," an Emmy-winning program, explores recreational and wildlife opportunities in Arizona. It airs Fridays at multiple times throughout the day.

- "Building Hoover Dam" presents historical footage of the dam's construction, produced by the U.S. Department of the Interior in the 1950s. It airs Tuesdays at scheduled intervals.

- "Desert Gardening with Carol Stuttard" features Master Gardener Carol Stuttard discussing optimal planting times and techniques for vegetable gardens. The show airs Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays at different times.

- "Legends of Airpower" profiles influential figures in American air power through exclusive interviews. The series airs Mondays and Wednesdays at designated times.

- "Living with Urban Wildlife" educates viewers on coexisting with local wildlife such as coyotes and bobcats. It airs Fridays and Saturdays.

- "Neighborhood College" provides residents with resources to become effective neighborhood leaders. It airs Sundays.

- "One Short Ride," presented by the Arizona Game and Fish Department, tells a cautionary tale about ATV safety. It airs Thursdays and Saturdays.

- "Operation Glen Canyon" documents the construction of Glen Canyon Dam using historical footage from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in the 1950s. It airs Tuesdays.

- "Scottsdale Leadership History Panel," moderated by Scottsdale Historian Joan Fudala, discusses significant historical events shaping modern Scottsdale. It airs Sundays.

- The dedication ceremony for the Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen is aired on Tuesdays to honor local military service members who have made sacrifices over more than a century.

Other notable programs include safety tips from Arizona Game and Fish Department ("Splash!
