Scottsdale is seeking a resident to fill an opening on the Development Review Board, a body appointed by the City Council that reviews architectural designs and layouts for commercial developments and preliminary plats for residential subdivisions.

Candidates must have professional experience in design, architecture, or development. The board typically meets at 1 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month. Additional information about the board can be found on ScottsdaleAZ.gov by searching “Development Review Board.”

Interested residents are encouraged to apply by Friday, June 14, through ScottsdaleAZ.gov by searching “Board and Commission Application.” The City Council will review materials and nominate candidates for this position in June, with interviews and an appointment scheduled for July.

Board and commission members must comply with the city’s Ethics Code and attend a training session before officially beginning their term.
