Rep. Joseph Chaplik | Arizona State Legislature
State Representative Joseph Chaplik condemned the impact that illegal immigration has had on local communities in light of a recent arrest made for the death of an Arizona resident.
“The consequences of illegal aliens invading this state are deadly,” Chaplik said in a post on X. “Zero respect for the law or human life. Horrible tragedies happening in all communities and you can blame the open border and the Democrats who have put this country in danger.”
David Hadrich, a 27 year old Arizona resident, was killed in a hit and run on Dec. 10. Following tips on the vehicles used in the crash, Maricopa County detectives were able to identify and find 28 year old Jose Andres Guerrero Talamantes. He was arrested on charges of felony hit-and-run involving death on March 1. He admitted to be a drug user and being under the influence of drugs when the crash occurred.
Chaplik, a member of the Republican Party, is currently serving in the Arizona House of Representatives for District 3. Chaplik previously held roles as the vice president and general manager of XO Communications and currently serves as the president of Joseph Bernard Investment Real Estate.
Chaplik is running for Arizona State Representative (District 3) in the state's Nov. 5, 2024 general election.
