Residents of Scottsdale are urged to attend a Police Department-hosted town hall meeting to address dinnertime burglaries. According to the latest Scottsdale Update, the meeting will provide valuable information on protecting homes during the early evenings when residents are not present. As emphasized by the police crime prevention staff, attendees are advised to secure their homes by locking doors, turning on lights, and setting alarms. Questions can be submitted ahead of time via email, and the meeting will be streamed live on YouTube for those unable to attend in person.

In transportation news, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has announced Loop 101 closures for the week. Drivers are advised of closures at various ramps and are provided with detour information to navigate around the affected areas. These closures are part of ADOT's two-year project aimed at enhancing Loop 101 infrastructure between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road.
