Fountain Hills Councilman Allen Skillicorn criticizes mayor Ginny Dickey for abusing her power and access to community resources to act against the best interest of the town and its residents.
“Because of the mayor’s heavy-handedness on development deals, the community is facing multiple lawsuits,” Skillicorn said. “These lawsuits cost time, money and resources and it could all be avoided by working with residents instead of working against them. Mayor Dickey has become the ‘Queen of Chaos.’”
“Not only are you not allowed to disagree, but you better not pass petitions to vote on a development deal she and her cronies want," Skillicorn said. "Under Mayor Dickey Fountain Hills was sued by the developer of Park Place, was sued Monday in Superior Court for election interference in ReferendumGate, and tonight is risking another civil rights lawsuit. This is lawfare and not how to run a town.”
Skillicorn was elected to the Fountain Hills Town Council in the August 2022 election, receiving 4,824 votes to gain one of three available seats on the council. He formerly served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives and serves as a precinct committeeman for the Arizona Republican Party Legislative District 3.
