Join the Scottsdale Historical Society, the city of Scottsdale and the Daughters of the American Revolution Winfield Scott Chapter as we mark the 186th birthday of Scottsdale's founder.

Hear from Mayor David D. Ortega, Community Historian Joan Fudala, Historical Society President Jason Song and Citizen Advisor Bruce Wall at this history-packed celebration!

After two years away, we're returning to the area in front of the Little Red Schoolhouse at the newly renovated Scottsdale Civic Center. After the program, take a self-guided tour of seven spots of historical significance to Winfield and Helen Scott.

If you haven't had a chance to see the Scottsdale Historical Museum, inside the Little Red Schoolhouse, plan to do a walk-thru before or after the event!

The fun starts at noon, Friday, Feb. 24 at 7333 E. Scottsdale Mall.

This event is free and everyone is welcome to join us. Call 480-312-3111 for more information.

These photos are from our celebration in 2022 at the Community Design Studio, which is located on land once owned by Winfield and Helen Scott. You can watch a video of that event at  Youtu.be/hCv286_Gh04.
