Our district champion is Flowing Wells Junior High 7th grader Austin Bird and our second place winner is Hendricks 5th grader Rory Grisham. It was an intense spell-off between these two to determine 1st and 2nd place. Austin spelled indemnity correctly to win. Rory spelled modular and eradicate correctly in previous rounds.
Congratulations to all of our spellers and best of luck to Austin and Rory as they represent Flowing Wells in the Pima County Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 18th at CDO auditorium.
